With The Compound Series wrapping up for another year, it’s time to take a look at the final standings for 2022! We had over 40 competitors this year across our 3 divisions to earn points and take out the top spot, with the top 4 results for each competitor being recorded.
The top of the table resulted in a close race with only 2 points between 3rd and 2nd and 7 points between 2nd and 1st.
In 3rd place we had Matthew Marazita, in 2nd place, Ashlin Herbert, and taking out the top of the table was the Barefoot Ninja, Dan Mason!
Since 2018, Dan and Ashlin have been the only 2 winners of the Compound series, swapping the title between them. We’ll have to wait until next year to see if Ashlin can take it back, or will someone else finally take the title?
For many of our Ninjas and Rookies, this season was their very first Compound Series. We had 8 New Competitors in the Ninja Category, either being their first competition or first season in the ninja category. And 8 brand new rookie who had never competed before! It’s been amazing to see so many new comers take to the course and show what they’ve got. Our best performs in these categories were:
In the Ninja Category: 3rd Place – Tuckey Beadel, 2nd Place – Joel Richardson and in 1st Place – Kyle Creek!
Kyle had just had a hip operation prior to this season, and has just recently gone in for a hip replacement, we wish him a speedy recovery and cant wait to see what he can do next year!
And in the Rookie Category: 3rd Place – Dee Thompson 2nd Place – Tasha Palmer and in 1st Place – Rebecca Holden!
Dee entered these comps on the back of a broken wrist and both Tasha and Rebecca competed in their first ever Ninja Competitions just this year!
Congratulations to all our winners, runners up and 2022 competitors. It’s been an exciting year of Ninja and we can’t wait to see what’s instore for 2023.
